Our retreats are an adventure! It’s also an opportunity to learn, educate, experience as well as dive deeper into your existing knowledge of cold exposure and the breath. Take time out from your busy life and visit us within the pristine nature of Finland so that you can reconnect with yourself and put yourself in the position to make a shift or even transform mentally, physically and spiritually. Feel invigorated, inspired and energised by the beauty of Finland and the power of the cold.

Our packing list is a guide that considers the venue and the unpredictability of the weather. We want you to pack everything you need to make the most of this experience. Please discern what is suitable for you or contact us to discuss leading up to your expedition.
2-3 x Pairs wool/merino socks
Beanie (water beanie provided to use)
Comfortable warm clothing
Easy slip-on shoes without laces (crocs ideally)
Gloves
Hiking boots or similar (*waterproof or leather ideal)
Pen and Paper / Journal

Learn and train on the icey seaside surrounded in snowy forest, dive under the ice and reach your highest potential during this unique weekend away. We will be there to guide and support you every step of the way, to help you make this your own well being journey. There will be education, knowledge share, tutorials, meditation, breathwork, and lot’s of fun and laughter to ensure lifelong memories - plus you will get a video from underneath the ice to remember your amazing journey!

All delicious, healthy meals are provided throughout your stay. Most dietary requirements can be catered for and upon booking, you’ll be sent a registration form to let us know of any requirements you may have.
We stay at Vill aTrollberg, west from Helsinki. There is traditional Finnish sauna and access to icey cold plunges, open fire places, under floor heating, a kitchen and laundry facilities – you’ll be comfortable and cosy. Rooms are twin or loft triple share.

You will need to make your own way to the Finland and then to the Villa Trollberg, which is roughly 70mins drive from Helsink-Vantaa Airport. We can assist to arrange car pooling or worst case scenario car hire is available which may be an option to share with other guests arriving at the same destination.

We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Your insurance protection should include cover for cancellation, medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury and accident, death and loss of personal baggage and money and personal liability insurance.

Leigh Ewin is an experienced health coach who specialises in cold exposure and breathwork modalities and practices.
He has studied alongside Wim Hof and Stig Severinsen - both world record holders in cold exposure and free diving feats and holds presentations and training sessions that explain the benefits of cold therapy.
Able to discuss and share the scientific basis of his teachings in equal parts with the practical applications and experiences - he has hosted large group experiences as a leader and has practiced in every format of cold that is possible on this planet.
Leigh has crafted a special weekend retreat that includes personal growth and breakthroughs using a combination of breathwork, cold exposure, sauna and the ultimate experience of free diving under the ice.
